The Grocery & Specialty Food West 2023 show was held in Vancouver on April 24 and 25, 2023, and brought together 3,000 specialty grocers, independents, major chains and warehouse operators from B.C. and across Canada.
The show was a massive success for Santa Rosa and all Buy BC partners. Our Buy BC-GSF booth received so much traffic that our neighbouring exhibitors thanked us for bringing attendees their way.
Santa Rosa's products were featured alongside other Buy BC partners' ("suppliers") to create a mock-up retail aisle, as shown in the pics.
Each product was accompanied by an information tag for visitors to learn about our products and to snap a picture of if they were interested.
Countless times throughout the event, we saw retailers/distributors engage with these tags and pick products off the shelves to learn more.
As part of our lure for attendees, Buy BC's booth had a spin wheel which awarded Buy BC tote bags filled with an assortment of Santa Rosa and other suppliers' products and, for attendees who didn't win these, mini samples and Buy BC swag (hats, aprons, etc.). In the end, we gave away nearly 30 gift bags.
